Profile Address Doesn’t Match Your Proof of Address
The address you typed in your profile must match the address on your proof-of-address document. Your ID card address is not part of this check.
How to fix
The review compares two things:
- The address you typed in your profile form
- The address on the document you uploaded as proof of address (utility bill, bank statement)
If those two don’t match, the review fails. Your passport or ID card address does not enter this check.
You have two paths:
A — Document already shows your current address? Update the profile address to match that document — town, street, building, postcode, country. Copy character by character.
B — Profile already shows your current address? Upload a new proof-of-address document showing that same address: utility bill, bank statement, or lease in your name.
If you moved to a different country
Common case: passport from one country, current residence in another.
Your profile must show your current country and current address. Your proof of address must come from that same current country — a utility bill from your passport country will not work if you live somewhere else now. Acceptable: a local utility bill, bank statement, or residence permit from the country you live in now.
Watch out for
- The country field in your profile — set it to where you live now, not your passport country
- Mixing scripts — Latin in the profile, Cyrillic on the document (or the reverse) reads as a mismatch
- Tried 5+ times with the same data? Contact support — repeated submissions with the same addresses won’t change the outcome
