How to fix
The uploaded document looks torn, worn, or unreadable. Try one of these:
- Use a different physical copy of the same document — one that’s in good condition
- Switch to another accepted document — passport, national ID card, or driver’s license
- If it’s a bank statement or utility bill — download a fresh digital PDF instead of photographing a paper copy
Make sure the entire document is clearly visible with no parts cut off.
Watch out for
- A laminated ID card with peeling lamination will be flagged — use your passport instead
- Creased or folded documents may trigger this even if the text is readable
- If you keep getting rejected, try a completely different document type
