Document Has Expired

Upload a document that hasn’t expired — check the expiry date before you scan.

How to fix

Look at the expiry date on your document. If it’s in the past, you need a valid one.

Accepted identity documents:

• Passport
• National ID card
• Driver’s license
• Residence permit

If your document recently expired and you’ve applied for a renewal, wait until you receive the new one. Temporary renewal confirmations or receipts are not accepted.

Watch out for

• Some documents show both an issue date and an expiry date — make sure you’re reading the right one
• A document that expires this month may still be rejected if it expires before the review is complete
