How to fix

An identity document — passport, ID card, driver’s licence — proves who you are, not where you live. The proof of address slot requires a document from an independent source: your bank, utility provider, landlord, or a government office.

Documents accepted as proof of address:

• ✅ Utility bill — electricity, gas, water, internet; dated within the last 3 months
• ✅ Bank statement — from your primary account, last 3 months
• ✅ Government letter — tax notice, registration document, social security letter
• ✅ Lease agreement — official rental contract with your name and address

Documents not accepted as proof of address:

• ❌ Ukrainian plastic ID card (even if it shows your registered address)
• ❌ Passport main page
• ❌ Driver’s licence

Watch out for

• If your ID contains an address, it still won’t work — the requirement is a document from an external source confirming where you currently live
• The document must show your full name matching your profile
• All four corners must be visible; no cropping, no blur
