How to fix

Upload a separate document that shows your full name and current residential address, dated within the last 3 months.

Documents that work:

• Utility bill — electricity, gas, water, internet
• Bank statement — from your primary bank account
• Government letter — tax notice, voter registration, social security letter
• Tenancy agreement — official rental contract with your name and address

Make sure the document is a clear photo or exported PDF. All four corners must be visible.

Watch out for

• A passport page with an address stamp is still a passport — it won’t be accepted as proof of address
• Utility bills older than 3 months get rejected
• A screenshot of your banking app is not a bank statement — export the PDF instead
