How to fix

Proof of address is a document from your utility provider, bank, landlord, or a government office that shows where you currently live.

Documents that work:

• ✅ NEPA / EKEDC electricity bill — your name, address, and a recent date visible
• ✅ Water or internet bill from your local provider
• ✅ Bank statement from GTBank, Zenith, Access, or any other bank — dated within the last 3 months
• ✅ Government letter — any official correspondence with your name and address

Documents that won’t work here:

• ❌ NIN (National Identification Number) — this proves identity, not address
• ❌ Voter card — also an identity document, not proof of address

If you only have paper bills, photograph the bill on a flat surface in good light. All four corners must be in the frame. If your bank supports it, download a PDF statement from their app or website and upload that instead.

Watch out for

• The document must be dated within the last 3 months
• Your full name on the document must match your profile name
• If the bill is in someone else’s name, it won’t be accepted
