Screenshot Uploaded Instead of Photo or PDF

Export a PDF from your banking app, or photograph a printed document.

How to fix

Open your banking app and look for the statement export:

1. Go to Statements or Account history
2. Select the period (last 1-3 months)
3. Tap Download, Export, or Share — often an arrow icon or three-dot menu
4. Choose PDF as the format
5. Save the file and upload it to the verification form

If you can’t find the export option, try the web version of your bank on a computer. Also check your email — many banks send monthly statements as PDF attachments.

Watch out for

• Using “Share” to send a screenshot is not the same as using “Export” to download a PDF
• Screenshotting a PDF viewer won’t work — upload the PDF file itself
• Cropping a screenshot to remove the status bar doesn’t help — it’s still detected
