Ukrainian ID or Passport Uploaded as Proof of Address

Upload a utility bill, bank statement, or official letter — not your ID card, passport, or driver’s licence.

How to fix

Your Ukrainian ID card, passport, and driver’s licence prove who you are. They cannot be used as proof of address.

Accepted as proof of address:

• Bank statement PDF — Monobank, PrivatBank, or any other bank. Last 3 months, must show your name and address.
• Utility bill — gas, electricity, or water. Must show your name and current address.
• Official letter — tax notice, pension statement, or other government correspondence.

If you are outside Ukraine

A foreign bank statement works. Download it as PDF from your bank app and upload it directly.

ВПО certificate (IDP certificate) — accepted as additional context by some reviewers, but may not be sufficient on its own. Combine with a foreign bank statement or utility bill showing your current address.

Дія (Diia) documents — currently not accepted. Use your original documents instead.

Watch out for

• Passport booklet (internal passport / книжка) — not accepted at all, even as identity document. Use your ID card (plastic) or international passport (biometric booklet with MRZ).
• Your address is printed on your ID card — it still cannot be used as proof of address. The requirement is a document from an external source (bank, utility provider, government office).
• Scanned copy instead of PDF — download the statement directly from your banking app, do not scan or photograph a printed statement.
