Czechia: proof of address that actually gets approved
Photograph the back of your Czech ID card — the TRVALÝ POBYT (permanent residence) side carries your address, so it stands in for proof of address on its own.
What passes
- The back of your national ID card showing TRVALÝ POBYT (permanent residence). Your address is right there, so it closes the proof-of-address step by itself. It’s the same card from the identity step — flip it over and photograph the back.
- A bank statement (mBank, Revolut) with your name and address. Download it as a PDF from your banking app.
- A Česká pošta postal receipt or an OSSZ envelope showing your name and address.
Keep bank statements under about 3 months old. The ID card has no expiry that matters here.
What gets rejected
- Waiting on a utility bill. Don’t stall — the back of your ID card already covers you.
- A screenshot of your banking app. Send the downloaded PDF or a clear photo instead.
- A document in someone else’s name, or an address that doesn’t match your sign-up form.
If you’ve relocated
A document from your passport country works, as long as the address on it is where you live now.
