Philippines: proof of address that actually gets approved
Upload a government ID that already prints your address on it, like your PhilSys National ID.
What passes
Your best bet is a government ID that shows your address. Submit the side with the address on it, the same document you already used for the identity step. Since it’s a government ID, the address on it never goes stale as long as the ID stays valid.
- PhilSys National ID (most people use this)
- LTO Driver’s License
- PhilHealth ID
Prefer a utility bill? A Meralco bill or one from your local electric cooperative works. Keep it within the last 3 months and make sure the header reads clearly.
What gets rejected
- GCash or Maya screenshots — e-wallet screenshots don’t count as proof of address.
- Barangay certificate — not confirmed to pass, so don’t lean on it.
- A bill or document in someone else’s name — it has to be in yours.
- An address that doesn’t match your sign-up form.
Whatever you send, upload a clear photo or the downloaded PDF, and keep utility bills inside 3 months. Government IDs don’t expire for this purpose.
If you have a PhilSys National ID, LTO Driver’s License, or PhilHealth ID with your address on it, use that first. It’s the fastest way through.
