Vietnam: proof of address that actually gets approved
Photograph the back of your CCCD national ID card and upload it — the address side passes on its own.
What passes
- CCCD national ID card, back side — the same card from your identity step. The back shows Nơi thường trú (place of permanent residence), and that line is your proof of address.
- No translation, no second document. For address, the card’s expiry doesn’t matter.
Shoot the whole card in focus, in your own name, with the address matching what you typed on the sign-up form.
What gets rejected
- Utility bills and bank statements — even recent ones fail here. Send the CCCD back side instead.
- MoMo or ZaloPay screens and statements — e-wallet documents don’t count as address.
- App screenshots — photograph the physical card, not your phone screen.
If you’ve relocated
A proof of address from your passport country works, as long as the address printed on it is where you live now.
